Normative
The Baccalaureate studies constitute a stage, after the E. S. O. , which has a voluntary character as opposed to the obligatory one of the E. S. O. , and whose duration is of two academic years.
The regulations governing the Baccalaureate are:
- Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, (L. O. E. ), and the Decrees and Orders that develop it:
- Royal Decree 1467/2007, of 2 November, which establishes the structure of the baccalaureate and establishes its minimum teaching requirements. (BOE 6/11/2007)
- Decree 416/2008, of 22nd July, which establishes the planning and teaching of the Baccalaureate in Andalusia. (BOJA 28/7/2008).
- Order of 5/8/2008, which develops the curriculum for the Baccalaureate in Andalusia. (BOJA 26-8-2008)
- Order of 15-12-2008, which establishes the order of the evaluation of the learning process of high school students in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia (BOJA of 5-1-2009).
- Instructions 16-6-2009, from the Directorate General of Educational Planning and Evaluation, on the permanence in the first year of high school of students with three or four subjects not passed
Admission Requirements:
Students who have one of the following qualifications are eligible for the baccalaureate studies:
- Graduate Degree in Compulsory Secondary Education. In addition, they must have passed the final evaluation of Compulsory Secondary Education through the option of academic teaching.
- It is also possible to access any of the modalities of the Baccalaureate with the title of Plastic Arts and Design Technician or Sports Technician.
- Vocational Training Technician.

Title and opportunities
Upon completion of the Baccalaureate studies, the student obtains the Baccalaureate Degree. This title opens up the following possibilities for you:
- Higher Level Training Cycles.
- University Studies in the different Schools and Faculties of the State, once the P. A. U. (University access test) is passed.
